5 Stocking Filler Gift Ideas for Beauty Lovers

The holiday season is such an exciting time of year. The best part of the season, though, is gift shopping because, well who doesn’t love shopping!

Buying stocking stuffers for my beauty and skincare-loving friends and family is especially fun because I know those gifts will be appreciated and used.

Scroll below to see my list of gift ideas for beauty lovers. There will be something here for everyone in your family and friends.

Facial Oil/Serum

Let’s start with oils and serums, a staple in any beauty guru’s Christmas wish list and also the
perfect size to fit into a stocking.

There are many options, for all skin types and concerns, so you’ll need to take a little time to
explore different brands and ingredients.

The specific product you decide to gift will depend on its intended purpose:

● Moisturizing: Look for serums featuring hyaluronic acid to moisturize and retain skin
moisture levels.
● Even out texture: Select serum containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) to help with
resurfacing your skin and evening your complexion.
● Brightening: Choose an oil that contains vitamin C to help brighten your complexion.

Price range: Between $10 to $80. You pay for the quality of the product, it’s always best to
do your own research on the better brands.

Skincare Gift Set

A skincare set is perfect for those looking for a new skincare line, a good deal, or both. All the top brands bring out skincare gift sets around this time of year, especially advent calendars as seen from SpaceNK, Fresh and LookFantastic.

If you prefer to gift something a little simpler, choose a skincare set with a selection of lip
balms or scents — everyone needs a lip balm and you can’t go wrong if it smells delicious.

Skincare sets make such great gift ideas for beauty lovers.

Price range: $26-350. Depending on whether you opt for a smaller set or an advent calendar
containing several diverse products.

Face Masks

Daily moisturizing is imperative for healthy skin care. However, a mask is needed for extra intense treatments, especially during the cold winter months.

Face masks are a stocking stuffer that will be put to good use, especially due to the temperature and weather changes. Like most other skincare products, masks come in various forms so it’s good to know which your loved one would prefer.

Some people don’t enjoy the coldness of a sheet mask. Both day and night masks usually come in palm-sized containers that will make the perfect stocking stuffer.

Price range: $2-40. Sheet masks are cheaper to buy, however exfoliating masks which come in small tubs are fairly priced.

Gua Sha and Roller

What do you get for the beauty fan who already has everything? You get them a set of tools
to help the products they use sink into their skin and show results.

The Gua Sha is a fin-shaped tool, usually made of stone or metal, and is one of the oldest
tools of Chinese medicine. Users use the stone at its various angles to help shape the face and smooth the product into the skin.

A face roller is self-explanatory. Usually made of jade, this facial tool is also of ancient Chinese origin and is used to roll over the skin once the product is applied to help push it into the user’s pores and help soothe and de-puff the skin.

SPF Sunscreen

SPF is an essential part of my personal daily routine, and it should be part of yours. Many people think that, as winter approaches, the need to wear SPF fades away with the sun. However, it is important to wear SPF everyday, regardless of the season.

I’ve owned one too many SPFs that dry a little bit white and are very gummy, so I’ve learned
to try them out before I rely on them – definitely purchase in store rather than online.

Price range: $10- $35. Usually, the higher the SPF rating the more expensive the product sells for, though it is also brand dependent so I’d recommend you shop around.
