When I visited France a few years ago, I was obviously blown away by the food and fashion. That goes without saying. There wasn’t a day that went by that the street style wasn’t chic from head to toe. Also, besides the fashion, the decor was beautiful. Parisian flair was noticeable in many aspects of decor.
This was most noticeable in Parisian bathrooms. The Parisian bathroom is a room dedicated to luxury and self-care. The bathrooms are contemporary meets vintage which ultimately oozes a timeless elegance. Needless to say, I always wanted to bring a piece of Paris to my own bathroom.
There are a few key pieces to a Parisian style bathroom. The walls are most noticeably a neutral color. Bold and bright colors are not often seen in bathrooms. Think a luxe and elegant experience. It is after all, a room that exhibits calmness.
There are pops of gold or silver found in lighting fixtures and faucets. The fixtures really pop with a neutral colored wall. In some bathrooms, there is a beautiful chandelier that sets the tone for the bathroom. Others, will have light fixtures, such as scones, on the wall.
The flooring varies in bathrooms. Flooring ranges from wood, marble, to tiling. Within those options, there is a lot of variance. There is dark to lightly colored wood. Black and white tiling is a popular and classic option.
Parisian bathroom decor can bring easy elegance and a confident, timeless style to your own bathroom.

A chandelier ensures adequate illumination, especially when wanting to create a luxe experience, whilst also being a stunning focal point.
Hanging pendants or wall scones are two other options for bathroom lighting.
