As I become older, my spending habits gradually shifted to the finer things in life. I really enjoyed splurging on myself. Really, who doesn’t?

However, although I don’t mind investing in high-quality scents, affordable price points shouldn’t just be reserved for college kids. Also, I love to find dupes for high end perfumes for a fraction of the price.

Best Dossier Perfume

The brand Dossier fits that bill. It’s an affordable, fragrance line that boasts about providing premium-quality fragrances. In other words, it provides dupes for the higher-end perfumes.

Dossier also sources its perfumes from Grasse, France. It is committed to clean ingredients and is paraben and phthalate free.

Dossier Ambery Saffron

‘Ambery Saffron’ is a dupe for the cult favorite ‘Baccarat Rouge 540’.

Baccarat Rouge is such a complex scent. Dossier has made the best one yet. It smells so similar and has the same depth and complexity as the real Baccarat.

It opens up with a rich and sweet saffron scent. The saffron works well and blends beautifully with the other notes of jasmine and plum. The floral and fruity notes work together and blend with the cedarwood and sultry amber notes.

This is one of the most popular and best Dossier perfume.

Dossier Woody Sandalwood

‘Woody Sandalwood’ is inspired by ‘Le Labo Santal 33′.

This scent features a captivating blend of musk, sandalwood, and amber. It opens up with spicy cardamom notes. The musk and amber undertones create a warm and inviting aura, while the sandalwood infuses a rich earthiness.

The amber adds a touch of sweetness and depth to the overall composition.

When comparing it to the original Le Labo Santal 33, both share the prominent sandalwood note that’s signature to the brand.

Dossier Floral Marshmallow

‘Floral Marshmallow’ is inspired by ‘By Killian Love, Don’t Be Shy.’

The scent is fresh and delicate, yet completely unforgettable. It’s the perfect balance of floral, sweet, and sultry.

It has a very sweet marshmallow and orange blossom opening. Orange blossom and jasmine are at the heart of the scent.  Musk, amber, and creamy vanilla notes balance the very sweet opening.

Dossier Ambery Vanilla

‘Ambery Vanilla’ is a dupe for ‘YSL Black Opium.’

This scent opens up with licorice, pear and spicy pink pepper notes. It quickly settles into crisp, sweet notes from the orange blossom and jasmine. The pear and pink pepper come through as the perfume settles.

The warm, sweet vanilla and coffee come through and are balanced with edge by the cedarwood.

The Dossier scent is slightly less deep than the original ‘Black Opium.’ It smells sweeter and slightly more feminine with less of the coffee note.

Dossier Floral Lavender

‘Floral Lavender’ is a dupe for ‘YSL Libre.’

As ‘Floral Lavender’ is sprayed, the initial burst of lavender and mandarin create an immediate sense of sophistication, a feeling that is beautifully complemented by the subsequent floral notes of jasmine.

The unique blend of lavender and florals creates an irresistible aroma that leaves a lasting impression. The musk is mixed with amber and creamy vanilla which lightens the scent.

The only difference that is distinguishable is that the floral notes are slightly more prominent in the Dossier version.

Dossier Gourmand White Flowers

‘Gourmand White Flowers’ is inspired by ‘Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb.’

This is a beautiful floral fragrance with a sweet touch of gourmand. The perfume opens up with fressia and berry notes. The heart of the fragrance is a beautiful bouquet of white flowers and roses. The addition of rose is elegant and sophisticated.

The caramel and vanilla are in the background and add creaminess with the white flowers in front. The maturity of the scent comes from the strength of the patchouli note.

The only difference between Dossier and Viktor & Rolf is the dry down. The Dossier dries down with a hint more vanilla and is slightly less subtle than ‘Flowerbomb’.

This is one of the best Dossier perfume dupes for the popular ‘Flowerbomb.’

Dossier Fruity Almond

‘Fruity Almond’ is a dupe for ‘Carolina Herrera Good Girl’.

This is the perfect cozy and sultry date night scent. The perfume is fruity then dries down to a warm almond scent.

It opens with a creamy peach. It is not a peach that is juvenile, but rather, a sexy mature peach note. There is a nutty almond note along with the peach note.

The peach and almond top notes are perfectly blended with the orange blossom and vanilla. This leads to a soft, sweet scent that warms down to the cozy, comforting aromas of cocoa, tonka bean and vanilla.

The slight difference between the two perfumes is in the dry down. With the Carolina Herrera perfume, it dries down to a warm, overly sugary musk which is very strong. With the Dossier version, the musk scent is lighter.
