I jumped onto the Le Labo fragrance bandwagon when I smelled the popular Santal 33 scent. I know it’s cliché, but little did I know that Santal 33 would be my entry to a new world of fragrances, specifically the Le Labo scents.
The Santal 33 scent is intoxicating and addictive. It has a very light, warm, smoky woods scent. Fresh and clean, yet a little leathery and mysterious. A perfect balance for a unisex perfume.
Hence, my introduction to the world of Le Labo fragrances. When it comes to the fragrance world, few brands have been able to claim that coveted cult status.
Le Labo is known for their trendy and eco-conscious scents. Hand-blended perfumes that are individually mixed in the shops with attached labels with the date and place of the formulation set the brand apart from its competitors. The number in the fragrance name indicates the number of notes in its composition.
Since fragrance can be a personal experience, it is wise to rank the best Le Labo scents by popularity. The good thing is that there are a range of scents in this group. For those who prefer a floral scent, there is Rose 31. The popular Another 13 is an amber, woody scent.

The Santal 33 is a cult favorite for a reason.
It has a beautiful, strong sandalwood based scent. Its opening notes are woodsy notes and then quickly settles down to a warm, creamy sandalwood with hints of floral.

From the beginning there is a sweet, bright aquatic scent that comes from the juniper berries and musk. As it dries down, it has an aquatic, watery scent which is the petrichor scent.
This is a more earthy, natural smelling scent.
