The cold weather is here, which means we’re bundling up to combat the cold in style. When temperatures drop and the cold weather hits, it’s especially hard to focus on much more than just staying warm.

With that said – it is the time of year to wear layers.

Layering is the key to battling the cold morning temperatures, and the unforgiving heat of the indoor environment.

Winter Work Outfits

The key to a stylish look for work is to rely on a solid roster of winter workwear. Think crisp shirting, sleek pair of trousersstructured wool overcoats, the list goes on.

The definition of business casual has shifted dramatically. Depending on your work environment, the interpretation of business casual has expanded to include pieces like buttery leather or an oversized sweater.

The easiest way to add interest to tonal outfits is by incorporating heroic staples into your look.

An all-black outfit is an instant winner, thanks to a timeless cashmere sweater and loafers.

Opting for one color makes getting dressed for work a bit easier – all while appearing impossibly put together.

What makes all-grey outfits stand out is their understated luxury. It is not as sharp as black, but more interesting than neutrals.

Tie the look together with sharp accessories – a large tote and a leather belt round out the look.

It goes without saying that cozy knits are an essential part of any winter wardrobe. With a slightly preppy vibe, reach for a twisted cable knit for the winter months.

A cable knit is a fun way to bring three-dimensional details to simple, solid-colored sweaters.

Cardigans will always be a favorite for the colder months, and there are plenty of good reasons why the button-up style will always be in favor.

They’re so versatile for the work setting.  Wear it over a white tee or underneath a blazer, buttoned up to the top or slightly open.

Easy-to-wear, they’re a great extra layer for the fluctuating office temperature, and even better for transitional weather, too.

Discover fresh ways to breathe new life into a black blazer. Blazers might feel formal initially, but give them a playful spin with a flowy, silk blouse.

Sharp black accessories – such as leather gloves, a black belt, and chic sunnies – really stand out as you go to a client meeting.

Leather has become an acceptable material in many office settings. Whether it be maxi skirts or tall boots, it adds an edgy personal style to winter workwear.
